August 12 2018 Rememberance Ceremony
Langenbruck Germany

The man in the black suit is the local Mayor (Burgemeister) Michael Franken who addressed the people who processed from the church to the memorial in the cemetery. He did the same at the 40th anniversary.

The man facing the memorial and holding a jacket in front of him is Paul O'Hara who lost 6 family members. Not connected to the Ramblers. They had all been parishioners at St. Mary's in Woolton.

The gentleman wearing glasses in the dark polo shirt on left side and with his head bowed is Josef Pfab, whose son made the cross on the memorial as a replacement for the old one which had been on the memorial for almost 50 years.

Photo taken by Horst Richter, a German journalist, at the cemetery and memorial.
