This is another from the Ashness Bridge walk.
I assume they were going on to Surprise View and Watendlath ( guessing here ).
This one gives you an idea of the size of the group.
My dad ( Francis King ) is on the far right wearing a dark jacket.
The man lying on his side near to my dad and talking to some women is Alf Livesey ( husband to Margaret ).
You can just make out my mum with Margaret in the background.
